This page covers the Databink website, databink.com. How we handle a client's business data is set out in that client's subscription agreement.

What this website collects

Sample dashboards

When you ask for a sample dashboard, we collect what you type into the form: your company's website, your name, your email, and your answers about your business. We also read your company's public website and public listings about it, such as review sites and state license records, to fit the dashboard to your business and area.

We use this to build your sample dashboard, to email it to you, and so that we can follow up with you about it. We use an AI service, Anthropic's Claude, to read your website and prepare the dashboard; Anthropic processes this for us and doesn't use it to train its models. The dashboard is hosted with Render, and email is sent through Resend.

The numbers in your dashboard are samples. We never ask for your real business data through the form.

To limit abuse, we keep a coded form of the internet address each request came from, not the address itself. If a request fails our automated bot check, we keep a record of the attempt, including what was typed into the form, for 30 days, so we can look into abuse.

We keep your sample dashboard for 7 days and our notes from preparing it for 90 days, then delete them. We record when your sample dashboard's link is opened, so we know you've had a look. If you become a client, we keep the notes as part of your project. We keep your name, email, company and answers as a contact so we can follow up, and we delete them if you ask. We don't sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

To have your information deleted sooner, email hello@databink.com.

When you contact us

If you book a time, call, text or email, we use your name, number, email address and what you tell us only to reply and to talk with you about working together. We don't sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Booking a time happens on a Google Calendar page, which asks for your name and email address and sends you the invitation. Google's own privacy policy covers what Google does with them.
